I was recommended the Metabolic Diet with Karine by my naturopath. I am a health care practitioner so I know what I should and should not do, I’ve studied nutrition and have helped others in their path. However, I had a year of a lot of stress eating, and not practicing what I preach and gained 10-15 pounds, my pants didn’t fit and I didn’t feel great. I needed a boost and some accountability. I got much more! I learned a different approach to eating and I like it! I have never measured my food or only had 3 meals a day, ever, I’ve always snacked...Through the metabolic diet, I got into the routine of 3 meals a day with enough protein in the meal that I was not hungry at all between meals. I also learned what an appropriate portion of food is - I was eating meals that were too big. Also, I am a huge lover of chocolate and sweets. After 2-3 days, I did not even crave sugar. I love that the maintenance phase is 80-20 rule. I don’t feel stuck in having to do 100% perfect all the time and am still happy with my results. And can still have treats here an there :)
